When a Damp Proof Course has failed, the evidence is usually visible when damp patches start to appear. This moisture will eventually cause the plaster to perish, leaving unsightly areas of damaged paint and wallpaper. In most cases the affected areas will require the removal of wall finishes and stripping of plaster. We then treat the areas by means of damp proofing injection techniques through holes drilled through the external and internal brickwork. The holes are then injected with damp proofing solutions compliant with the British Standard BS5750. The wall is then re-plastered.
